Physiotherapy at Ashford and St Peter’s
Upper Limb Class
The Upper limb Class series is for patients that have shoulder, upper back and neck pain and includes education to strategies to successfully self-manage living well upper limb pain.
Advanced Lower Limb
This is for patients over 17 years of age with ankle, knee, hip musculoskeletal problems which is impacting their sport or daily activities. Also, for late stage Post ACL Reconstruction.
Back to Fitness
The Back to Fitness class series is designed to provide exercises suitable for helping improving mechanical low back pain by increasing functional strength and mobility of your back plus education to help better understand low back pain and strategies to successfully self-manage living well with back pain.

Dynamic Conditioning
This is for patients with movement control impairment resulting in mechanical low back pain. Providing strength and mobility exercises to help reduce pain within the lumbopelvic region of a muscular nature.
Fun 2 Be Fit
This is for patients who may be generally deconditioned due to arthritis or lack of strength due to inactivity or prolonged hospital stay.
Lower Limb Exercise and Education
Lower Limb Exercise Class is designed to help increase your strength, endurance and mobility of your lower limb joints: knees; hips and ankles. It is targeted towards self-management of arthritic pain but anyone with longstanding pain may benefit.

Mindful Movement
The Mindful Movement Class is designed with the propose that mindfulness practice within physiotherapy will prove useful as a self-empowerment tool, as well as an adjunct to physiotherapeutic intervention for those with persistent pain with coexisting fatigue, low mood, and stress. It is mind body exercise and incorporates elements of Yoga, Tai chi, Qigong to offer benefit for those managing their persistent pain while improving function and supporting from a psychological perspective.
